Bluetooth Connection Setup Guide
Bluetooth Connection Setup Guide
Connect your Sentorise LiFePO4 battery to the app and monitor voltage, temperature, and charge status in real time.
Search “Sentorise” in the App Store or Google Play
On some Android versions, Location may also need to be turned on for nearby Bluetooth device discovery. Sentorise does not collect, track, store, or upload your location information.
Check the Correct Battery
If you have more than one Bluetooth-enabled battery, confirm the SN code shown in the app matches the label on the battery you want to connect before proceeding.
One Battery, One Device at a Time
Each battery can only be actively connected to one phone or tablet at a time. If it is already open on another device, it may not appear in the list or the connection may fail.
Battery Info Confirmed After Connection
Battery model and capacity are confirmed only after the connection completes. Any value shown before that is a temporary placeholder.
Open the Sentorise app
Go to the Device page and tap Add to start adding a new battery.
Search via Bluetooth
Select Search via Bluetooth in the Add Device panel. The app will scan for nearby Sentorise batteries automatically.
Select your battery
When the device list appears, find your battery and confirm the SN code shown in the app matches the code printed on the battery label. Then tap to connect.
The SN code is printed below the barcode on the battery label, usually starting with “S”, for example: S12100BGXAYKK1234.
Depending on the model, the label may be on the top, side, or outer packaging box.
Check every character carefully before selecting. One wrong character will connect you to the wrong battery.
Enter the SN code if prompted
If the app shows “Please enter the SN code of the connected device”, type in the SN code from the battery label and tap Confirm. You can also tap the scan icon to scan the barcode instead of typing. This step does not always appear.
Wait for the connection to complete
Keep your device close to the battery and wait 5 to 10 seconds for the connection to complete.
Battery not appearing?
Move your device closer to the battery, restart Bluetooth, restart the app, and search again. Also make sure the battery is not already open on another device.
Bluetooth matching failed?
The battery BMS may be in sleep mode. Connect a LiFePO4 charger for 10 to 30 seconds to wake it up, then return to the app and try again.
Multiple batteries nearby?
Connect one battery at a time. Before selecting, always confirm the SN code shown in the app matches the label on the battery you want to connect.
Barcode scan not working?
Make sure the barcode is clearly visible and there is enough light. If scanning still does not work, enter the SN code manually instead.
| Permission | iOS | Android |
|---|---|---|
| Bluetooth | ON | ON |
| Bluetooth permission for app | Required | Required |
| Nearby Devices permission | Not required | Required |
| Location service (system) | Not required | May need to be ON |
| Location permission for app | Not required | May be required |
On some Android versions, Location access is required only for nearby Bluetooth device discovery. Sentorise does not collect, track, store, or upload your location information.
Do I need to pair the battery in my device’s Bluetooth settings?
No. Please connect the battery only inside the Sentorise app. Pairing through your device’s Bluetooth settings will not work and may cause connection failures.
Why can’t I find my battery in the app?
Please make sure Bluetooth is turned on, your device is close to the battery, and the battery is not already being viewed on another device in the Sentorise app.
If needed, restart Bluetooth, restart the app, and search again. On some Android versions, Location may also need to be turned on for nearby Bluetooth device discovery.
Why does the app ask for an SN code?
The app uses the SN code to confirm that you are connecting to the correct battery. Please enter the SN code exactly as printed on the battery label.
Where can I find the SN code?
The SN code is printed below the barcode on the battery label, usually starting with “S”, for example: S12100BGXAYKK1234.
Depending on the model, it may be printed on the top or side of the battery. In some cases it may also appear on the outer packaging box.
Can one battery connect to two devices at the same time?
No. One battery can only be actively connected to one device at a time. If it is already open on another device, close it there first before connecting on a new device.
Why does Android sometimes require Location access?
On some Android versions, Location access is required for nearby Bluetooth device discovery. This is an Android system requirement only. Sentorise does not collect, track, store, or upload your location information.
Battery not responding or “Bluetooth matching failed”?
The battery BMS has likely entered sleep mode. Connect a LiFePO4 charger for 10 to 30 seconds to wake the battery, then return to the app and try again.
For first use, we also recommend activating the battery with a LiFePO4 charger before connecting in the app.
Why does the app show the wrong battery?
If multiple Bluetooth-enabled batteries are nearby, the app may detect more than one device. Please make sure the SN code shown in the app exactly matches the label on the battery you want to connect.
Do I need to delete the battery before switching devices?
No. You do not need to delete the battery. Just return to the app home screen on the first device, then connect again on the second device.
Why does the app show the wrong capacity before connection?
Battery model and capacity are confirmed only after the connection completes. Any value shown before that is a temporary placeholder.
What should I do if the barcode scan does not work?
Make sure the barcode is clearly visible and there is enough light. If scanning still does not work, enter the SN code manually.
